Owen's first art project

I spent the day with mommy's friend Dorene today and we did an art project.

My First Birthday Party!

Here are a few pictures of my first birthday party. All my family from Illinois came in to celebrate with me so we had to have the party at grandma and grandpa's house. Mom made me a yummy cake and I had a great time playing with all my friends. I was not very interested in unwrapping anything, I was just to busy playing.

The past few weeks have been very busy for our family. Mommy started her new job and so did daddy. I started "daycare" at Callen's house (our neighbor) and am having so much fun. I have really come out of my shell and am talking up a storm. When I see out the window I say "burrr" and grandma heard me say book and I am starting to imitate other words. I also got my top 2 teeth this week! At my 1 year appointment I weighed in at 22lbs 6oz and 30.5 inches. Dr. Kokx said I'm doing great.

My First Hair Cut!

The pictures say it all! On my first birthday Mom and Dad took me to get my first hair cut. We went to daddy's barber shop and I even go to sit on daddy's lap. I still hated every single minute of it, but i do look cute.

A year ago today.....(by mommy)

We were in the hosptial, in labor and almost ready to start pushing. I really cannot beleive it has been a year! Owen has grown so much in this short time. He is walking and talking up a storm. He says mama, dada, oggie(doggie), hi(only to the dogs) and lots of other crazy babble. He is drinking whole milk and eats what ever he can get his hands on, encluding stickers (thanks grandma)! He waves hi and bye and knows to go to his room when it's diaper time and nigh nigh time. He has also started giving things to me when i ask for them, he got me the remote the other day, way better than the dogs! He loves reading books and knows the difference between the doggie book and Halloween Jack. He can also pick Wylee out in the dog book. What a smart kid!
